Our Mission

The Enger Heritage Foundation preserves and celebrates Norwegian-American heritage by establishing a permanent heritage park and trail system connecting families to their Norwegian roots. Our site will feature a Viking-style timber gathering hall, ATV and UTV accessible trails, primitive camping, and cultural landmarks. The Foundation also provides mobility assistance to disabled Norwegian-American individuals, ensuring all family members can access and enjoy the outdoors regardless of physical limitation.

What We're Building 

A permanent Norwegian-American heritage park and trail system on 25+ acres, designed to bring generations of families together. The site includes a Viking-style timber gathering hall for reunions and cultural events, UTV/ATV accessible trails for exploring wooded terrain, a memorial fire circle, primitive camping grounds, and cultural landmarks honoring our Norwegian roots in the Ådal Valley of Ringerike, Norway. 

Mobility Assistance Program

Not every family member can access the outdoors without help. Our Mobility Assistance Program provides disabled Norwegian-American individuals with access to Foundation-owned outdoor recreational equipment — including UTVs — so every family member can participate in heritage activities and enjoy the park alongside everyone else, regardless of physical limitation.
